Biographies:

In June 2000, Kohey Takashima founded Oisix with the corporate philosophy of "creating a rich dietary life for ordinary families" and assumed the role of CEO. The company operates as an online grocer, delivering organic foods across Japan. In 2017, he led the business integration with Daichi wo Mamoru Kai, followed by Radishbo-ya in 2018. In 2019, after Purple Carrot, a U.S.-based plant-based meal brand, became a subsidiary of Oisix ra daichi Inc., he was appointed as a Director of the company. Oisix ra daichi Inc. was listed on the First Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange in 2020. In January 2024, SHiDAX Corporation, which provides meal services for businesses, schools, and hospitals, became a subsidiary.

Beyond his corporate leadership, he serves as Chairman of the Board of Albirex Baseball Club, Inc. and Co-Chairman of Data for Social Transformation, a general incorporated association. He was also appointed Vice President of Keizai Doyukai (Japan Association of Corporate Executives) in April 2021. In recognition of his contributions, he was named a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum in 2007. He is also one of the founding members of Table for Two, a non-profit organization dedicated to addressing global food-related challenges.

Daniel Goldstein serves as Chief Executive Officer of Purple Carrot, the largest plant-based retailer, Yoko Street, the leading Japanese home delivery service, and Oisix Inc., the International operations of Oisix ra daichi.  Previously, he served as General Manager for the U.S. businesses of Yamamotoyama, the world's oldest tea company and global provider of nori seaweed, and its subsidiaries including Stash Tea.  He attended the Columbia University School of International and Public Affairs.
