Biography:
\n \n< strong>Hiroshi Ono was appointed as a Boa rd Member of United States Steel Corporation in Ju ne 2025. As Managing Executive Officer at Nippon S teel Corporation\, Mr. Ono is responsible for mana ging global business development in the Americas. Since 2020\, he has also served as President and C EO of Nippon Steel North America.
\n \nMr. Ono joined Nippon Steel in 1989\, serving in a ser ies of management roles in the Business Developmen t and Automotive Flat Products divisions. Prior to his current role\, Mr. Ono served as the Head of Global Business Support Center in the Global Busin ess Development Sector.
\n \nMr. Ono earned his Bachelor of Economics from Kyushu University and his Master of Business Administration from Amo s Tuck School\, Dartmouth College.
